Perception, awareness, and attitude toward digital dentistry among pre-dental students: an observational survey

Abstract Background Pre-dental students’ perception and awareness about current technology in dentistry can influence their motivation maturity during the learning experience affect dental education outcome. This observational survey aimed to examine pre-dental student's cognitive behavioral traits as measures toward digital dentistry. The covered areas that authors believed impact future investments institutional decision making. was distributed over all students representing two US schools state of Kentucky. included four main categories: (1) career vision, (2) dentistry, (3) prior knowledge (4) personal intelligence. Results feedback positive use findings are discussed light implications students' support teaching education. Conclusions Despite expected enthusiasm technology, results highlight need emphasize structured self-learning, self-evaluation, a deeper understanding research within curricula.
